I'm not sure if they've kicked their flavourings up or if it's just my palate, but the food was sensational and really varied in the flavour combinations and heat levels. I'm not great with hot food though so it may be mild to a more adventurous diner! I found some things quite hot but every item was really delicious. The prawns on the betel leaf, pumpkin curry and the caramalised custard with poached pineapple were the favorites of the night. That dessert was incredible!!!!!!xoAmyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16738183438346735542noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4609138731901019917.post-31985655733296700332010-11-09T20:22:34.145+11:002010-11-09T20:22:34.145+11:00think i'll wait a few weeks before trying this...think i'll wait a few weeks before trying this place out, hopefully they'll improve some of the kinks.

im in love with asian food and have some great recommendations. the dainty sichuan on toorak (hot, delicious and must try the kung pow prawns!) davids of chapel street and charm thai and south melbourne. all veru budget friendlyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4609138731901019917.post-63139603957947369562010-10-30T18:39:02.826+11:002010-10-30T18:39:02.826+11:00Still keen to visit Easy Tiger, despite the mixed ...Still keen to visit Easy Tiger, despite the mixed reviews on heat. The reason I ask is because the other week I went to a place in Portland (Oregon, not the one at the end of the Great Ocean Road) called Pok Pok (http://www.pokpokpdx.com/menu_dinner.htm) that specializes in Norther Thai/Issan and it was awesome. And it really nailed the sweet/sour/spicy combo.Ianhttp://twitter.com/tortoise_ownernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4609138731901019917.post-29434998172398440082010-10-20T10:55:37.127+11:002010-10-20T10:55:37.127+11:00Thanks for the shoutout.
